Delete Your Account

You can delete your CallRoute account at any time. This page explains how to do it, what is deleted and what we keep, and for how long.

How to delete your account

  • In the CallRoute phone app: open Settings and tap Delete account.
  • In the web dashboard: sign in at app.usecallroute.com, go to Settings, then Profile, and click Delete account.
  • By email: write to hello@usecallroute.com from the email address on your account and ask us to delete it.

You confirm the request with your password. Sign in is blocked right away and every device you are signed in on is signed out. We complete the deletion within 30 days. If you change your mind before it is done, email hello@usecallroute.com and we will cancel it.

What is deleted

If you own the workspace, deleting your account closes the workspace. We release its phone numbers, cancel its subscription and delete its data, including contacts, conversations, messages, call history, voicemails, recordings, transcripts, settings and team seats. Released numbers usually cannot be recovered, so port out any number you want to keep before you delete your account.

If you are a teammate and not the owner, we remove your login and your seat. The conversations and calls you handled stay with the business, since they belong to the workspace.

What is kept and for how long

  • Billing and payment records: invoices, charges and tax records are kept for as long as the law requires, typically up to 7 years.
  • Security and audit logs: sign in history, account action logs and fraud signals are kept for up to 2 years to prevent fraud and abuse, as described in our Privacy Policy.
  • Call recordings: recordings follow your workspace's retention settings and are deleted with the workspace.
  • Backups: deleted data is removed from our backups as they roll over, within the 90 day window our Privacy Policy sets for deleting workspace data.
