Every move, in five steps
- Create your workspace. Sign up, pick a plan and take a new number for each teammate. You can call and text from it right away while your old numbers move over.
- Get your port details. Ask your current provider for the account number and transfer PIN on the account, and download a recent bill. Carriers check these to approve the move.
- Start the port in CallRoute. Open Numbers, choose Bring a number, enter the details and attach the bill. It costs $5 per number, one time, and is refunded if the number does not arrive.
- Set up menus and hours. Recreate your phone menu, business hours and voicemail greetings. Most teams finish this in under an hour.
- Cancel the old account last. Keep your old account open until CallRoute shows the number as active. Cancelling first can release the number and lose it for good.
