International numbers and calling
A local number in the UK and Australia, and fair rates everywhere else
Customers abroad are more likely to answer, and to call back, when they see a local number. Add a UK or Australian number to your CallRoute account, and call or text other countries from your wallet at the rate shown before you start.
UK mobile and local numbers
UK mobile numbers take calls and texts. UK local numbers (01 and 02) take calls and need a business address in the UK. Both are $5 a month from your wallet.
Australian mobile numbers
Australian mobile numbers take calls and texts, for $12 a month from your wallet. They need a company registration document with your name, address and registration number.
Business details, checked once
These countries require the business behind every number to be on record. Fill in your business details and select Send for review. The review usually takes one to three business days.
Status emails at every step
You get an email when your details are in review, when they need changes and when your numbers are ready to add, plus a reminder if something waits too long.
The rate before you dial
Type a number and the phone shows the country and the price per minute before you call. Texts to other countries show the price per text before you send.
Paid from your wallet
International calls are charged per started minute and texts per text, from the same prepaid wallet as everything else, with every charge listed.
Guard rails on spending
International needs a card on file and a confirmed owner email. New accounts start with a small daily limit that grows after the first week and the first month.
Each seat, one more country
Each seat can add one number in another country, on top of the local or toll-free number that comes with the seat.

International numbers and calling: common questions
How much do international calls cost?
It depends on the country and whether you call a mobile or a landline. The phone shows the exact price per minute before you dial, and calls are charged per started minute from your wallet. CallRoute does not place calls that cost more than $0.60 a minute.
How do I turn on international calling?
An owner or admin turns it on in Settings, Safety, under International calls and texts. Your account needs a card on file and a confirmed owner email.
Is there a daily limit?
Yes, to protect your wallet from fraud. International spend is limited to $10 a day in the first week and $25 a day until day 30. After that the limit is $100 a day or $10 per seat, whichever is more.
