The usage wallet and what things cost
One prepaid balance covers anything beyond your plan. Top it up in a few clicks and see exactly what every charge was for.
Your plan covers your seats, one number per seat, and a monthly pool of minutes and texts. Anything beyond that is paid from the Usage wallet, one shared balance for the whole workspace. You will find it at the top of the Billing page.
Add funds
- Select Billing in the sidebar. You need to be an owner or admin.
- In Usage wallet, select Add $20.00, Add $50.00 or Add $100.00.
- Pay in the checkout that opens on the page. You see Payment received. Your balance has been updated.
Every top up also appears under Billing history, where you can open the Receipt or Download it as a PDF.

- Minutes are counted per started minute, so a 61 second call is 2 minutes.
- A long text that carriers split into several parts counts as several texts. A picture message counts as 2 texts.
- International minutes are paid from the wallet in full and do not use your plan pool.
When the wallet runs low
- Once your team has used its monthly minutes, a new call needs enough in the wallet for at least one minute.
- Before an international call, the phone warns you if your balance is not enough for a minute at that rate, with an Add funds link.
- If the wallet is empty, the AI receptionist steps aside and callers get voicemail instead.
- Extra numbers renew monthly from the wallet. If it cannot pay, the Seats card shows a warning with a date. Add funds by then, or the number is released and usually cannot be recovered.
Read your charges
Under the balance, every charge and top up is listed with its amount. Select one to see the details and the balance after it: for a call, who it was with, which line and teammate, talk time, billed minutes, how many were beyond your plan and the rate. Number charges show the number and the date it is paid through.
