Get UK and Australian numbers
US and Canadian accounts can add UK and Australian numbers. Send your business details for review once, then add numbers when they are approved.
The UK and Australia require the business behind every number to be on record. In CallRoute you fill in your business details once for each kind of number, they are reviewed, and then you can add numbers of that kind.
What you can add

These numbers are always paid from your wallet, on top of your plan. Each seat can add one number in another country. Calls and texts to the UK and Australia are international and priced from the wallet like any other country.
Send your business details
- Select Numbers in the sidebar. In Add a number, pick the UK or Australia tab.
- Pick Mobile or Local.
- Fill in the business details form: Legal business name exactly as it appears on your registration, Registered with, Registration number and Business website.
- Add a contact: Contact first name, Contact last name, Contact work email (best on the same domain as your website) and Contact mobile, which must be a real mobile, not a number from a phone app.
- Enter the business address. It cannot be a PO Box. For Australian mobile numbers, upload the Company registration document as a PDF, JPG or PNG up to 5 MB, showing your name, address and registration number.
- Select Send for review.
The review
The review usually takes one to three business days. The form shows Details sent, In review and Approved, and you can select Check now at any time. Owners, admins and the contact on the form get an email at each step:
- when your details are in review;
- when they need changes, with what to fix. Update the form and select Send again;
- a reminder if your numbers are still on hold after a few days;
- when your numbers are ready to add, with an Open numbers button.
Add the number
Once approved, search for a number on the same tab and add it like any other. It shows on the Numbers page and works in the inbox and the phone right away. To give it to a teammate, see Reassign a number.
